About Neuros Biotechnology
Neuros Biotechnology is a Maryland based start-up, pioneering a groundbreaking approach to combating Alzheimer's disease (AD) through innovative neurogenic therapies. We aim to treat AD holistically, addressing every aspect of lifestyle-related disease-modification, combined with harnessing the potent capabilities of NB-Px, a human derived mixed biologic with unique neuro-regenerative properties.
The Problem
Alzheimer's disease is incurable and fatal. Approximately 7 million Americans, aged 65 and older, are currently affected and an estimated 12 million have Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). MCI is a transitional stage between normal aging and an indicator of more serious neurodegenerative conditions.
The Impact
AD is the most common cause of dementia with approximately 50 million patients worldwide. This is projected to triple by 2050. Costs managing Alzheimer's disease patients in the USA totaled over $300 Billion in 2023 and is forecast to increase to over $1 trillion by 2050.
The SCIENCE
Neuros Biotechnology views AD as its functional impact, that of neuroplastic deficiency. Using our lead biologic, NB-Px, a regenerative, human derived, mixed biologic, we aim to rejuvenate neuroplasticity and recover cognition for all stages of AD, and prevent further disease development in MCI patients.
